Here are the results from the Practical shoot earlier today.
It was a race against the rain but we gotter done. The Beaver Run Kid stood tall in his saddle today, not only did he take the over all win he also shot a clean match. Congratulations Kid for shootin great and fast might I add. The Mifflin Kid came in second with only one miss from a clean match award pin. Rumor has it that it was on the last stage and he herd the dinner bell ring and got in a hurry to get to the chuck wagon.
November 18th is the next scheduled Handgun Program!
Here are the scores for the September Buffalo shoot with an updated year to date points, If you notice the YTD scores are a little higher it is because there was a quiches in the calculation of the monthly scores that is now corrected and after triple checking then again they are now up to date . I will also post this to the Mainville website for everyone to review.
We have one shoot left before the end of the 2017 Buffalo shoot , Ed will be bringing the trophy to the last shoot so we can present it to the highest score and winner for 2017 who will have the privilege of getting in their home for the following year returning it at the last match in 2018 . We have three shooters that are within striking distance to winning Joe Bosch who is now in first place with Mike Laurie right behind him and lastly Ted Klebon who is in third position. Let's try and make the Last shoot of the year a great one with everyone turning out.
Turned out to be a very nice day with the Beaver Run Kid taken off with the Pony Express Mail cause no one came close to catching him with the over all win. To our surprise the Mifflin Kid showed up with his cowboy rig, ammo and even remembered his shootin irons too, wow must of been his day cause he got a clean match. Congratulations Mifflin Kid for great shootin. Only two shoots left at Mainville for the Cowboys so we hope to have all Cowboy Shooters at them.

Looks like we may have to give Barry Ray some points for shooting both the pulley and the cable Looking forward to seeing everyone in Sept. there are only two shoots left for this year let see f we can make the next two with a great turnout.
Lead Slinger Leroy took the over all win with Dodge Bill and Tombstone Tex just mere seconds behind him for a second and third place, very close match guys. Just a reminder that North Mountain will have their Cowboy Shoot on August 20th and not the 27th. See ya all next month !
The next Handgun Program has been scheduled for September 16th.

Good luck to The Most Reverent Father John S. who is being transfer to another parish outside of Allentown. Before I forget thanks to Ed, Joe and Barry for helping out while I was home taking care of my wife with her new knee replacement. We had a great turnout for July let's try and do the same if not better for August.
Here are the results for the shoot on the 8th
Again no clean match awards for this month, guessin no one could bribe the new score keeper Jeraco Jammie, she a tough one and no one could get away with nothing ! The Beaver Run Kid took the over all win with Dodge Bill and the Keller Hollow Kid chasing him down for second and third. It was nice to see several return shooters throwin some lead around with their old irons.
Photos are up for the June 2017 Buffalo shoot.

The June shoot started out again looking a little gray but towards the end of the match it surprise all of us by not raining on us. We had a light turnout this month but still and exceptional time had by all who came out. Looking forward to our next shoot in July let's see if we can get a good turnout and that the weather will be clean Maybe we can get Father John to say a prayer for us.
A bit warm for a early June shoot but we had a nice turn out any way. Beaver Run Kid had the over all win with no one close to chasing him down, guess we got to give his mules some moon shine to distract him a little. Bull Bigguns gets the first new Mainville Marauders Clean Match award pin. Congratulations Bull Bigguns for shootin straight.
