There was a good turn out for the Cowboy Shoot on a unusually hot day in May with all looking for some shade to cool down. We had several spectators that took a turn at the end and really enjoyed this style of shooting only to claim "we will be back" ! Two shooters managed to kept cool and calm ending up with a clean match. Congratulations goes out to Bulls-eye Barry and Bull Big-guns, and that ain't no Bull ! The Beaver Run Kid took the over all match win with Quick Whit Big-guns chasing him down.
If anybody found a magazine at our last steel match on the 3rd or any time after please get in touch with me via the website contact form.

We will be moving the shed from behind the clubhouse to the pistol pits. It will be done mostly with machinery but some help will be needed to attain grades and a small bit of raking. The move should be done by early to mid afternoon and there may be some shooting after.
Our April scores are now posted for the Buffalo Shoot. We would like to Thank everyone who came out for our first shoot of the year and looking forward to the following months ahead . We would like to wish one of our active buffalo shooters Craig Rittenhouse a speedy recovery and hope to see him in September. Let's see if we can grow our monthly shoots by inviting other members to join us for a great day at the range. Our top shooter of the month on the Buffalo was no other than John S. and on the lever rifle with a perfect 10 our own Dusty Ed , follow up by Frank being the winner on the Pistol Rifle Cartridge .
We had a nice turn out and weather for our first shoot in 2015. There were four Clean Match shooters for the day, congratulations to Bull Big Guns, Crooked Barrel, Mifflin Kid and Pee Wee Guns ! Texas Frank was in such a hurry leaving the Lead Mine Tunnel that the mine car derailed and stopped in its track. Guess he figured he had the advantage to shoot with out moving down the rails but he had to start over after the mine car was put back on the track. Every one had their Mules, Wagons and Guns ready for the day after a long winter and all with cabin fever !
There is a Scheduled Work Day and Dues Paying Day set for April 4th starting around 9:00 am until complete. There is interior work at the Club House as well as work needed on the entire Club Grounds. With the early morning chill in the air the Cowboys had a top gun shoot out for bragging rights to close out the 2014 season. We ended up with 10 Clean Match shooters that brought out great competition in all. Texas Frank and the Miflin Kid left their rigs at home and had to improvise for the day, must of been in a dang blasted hurry to get here. Dodge Bill had the best irons and buckboard for a first place over all win ! Lead Slinger Leroy carried stage props with him just to antagonize Righteous Randolph who was looking over his shoulder all day, but in the end we had a great 2014 Cowboy season and want to thank all that helped out this year. We are looking forward to a fantastic 2015 season coming up soon, so continue to check the web site for the 2015 schedule.
On Sunday November 9th at 4PM we will be holding a Meat Card shoot. This activity is open to the public as well as members.
