Well it looks like it was another great turn out for the Buffalo shoot this month with a new shooter Dave H. welcome and hope to see you at the next two before the end of the season. We had two shooters tied on the Big Bore Rifle this month congratulations to both Gene and Marty Leiby. Remember we have only two matches left for the 2018 season so let’s try and make both of them a great turn out also would like to Thank both Joe Bosch and Bob Gular for making the trip every month (and for the bread) we know you guys come a long way and we do appreciated having both of you here every month
With Labor Day coming upon us if you are traveling please be careful while on the road and will see everyone in September.
It was a nice warm day for Cowboy Action shooting with the Beaver Run Kid taking the overall win and also shootin a clean match. Congratulation Kid for keepin your cool and shootin straight. Johnny Swam finished second with Lead Slinger Leroy running him down for a third place finish.
The Handgun Program scheduled for August 4th has been cancelled due to lack of enrollment. A new date host not yet been set.
A 2 Gun shoot took place on July 22nd. Here are the results.
The July Buffalo scores are now posted first we would like everyone for coming out and making it a great shoot we were pretty lucky with the weather holding out until later in the day looking forward to seeing everyone next month one other thing on the money shoot would like to congratulate Barry for coming in first place (Has to be the new bullets)
It was a great day for shootin but ya had to keep your shootin irons in the shade other wise it was like grabbin hold of a Horse Shoe fresh out of the Blacksmiths fire. The Beaver Run Kid keep his cool and took the over all win with Lead Slinger Leroy and J S Sooner nippin at his heals. Bull Bigguns shot a clean match even with the tough stages Dodge Bill set up for the day, Congratulations Bull Bigguns for shootin straight. We had a new shooter "The Widow von der Hotie" try her luck and enjoyed the day shootin Cowboy style. Just a reminder that August 12th is our Cowboy Action Underwear Shoot and also North Mountain will be having their August Shoot on the 19th, not the 26th due to conflicts with another club.
A Handgun Program has been scheduled for August 4th.
Steel Challenge dates have been modified in order to avoid conflict with other local clubs. Please update your calendars!
There will be a meeting of the Skeet Committee as well as an open skeet shoot this evening at approximately 5pm until dark. Members and guests are welcome to shoot.
Also on June 30th and July 1st the kitchen will be open for breakfast and lunch. Help support your club, come and eat.
June results are now posted for today’s shoot. We would like to thank everyone for coming out have a great turn out as well as some nice scores. It was great seeing some faces we haven’t seen for awhile Craig and Muddy creek as well as Rod Barlo. Hope everyone has a great 4th of July and if you are driving any distance be safe and will see everyone in July.
Volunteers requested before the meeting on 6/21 to help put clay targets into the houses. There will be a forklift to do the heavy lifting. Just need a few bodies to stack them in the sheds.

The Buffalo scores for May have now been posted looks like Mother Nature gave everyone a good day for the May shoot that was cancel the week prior because of the rain. Great turnout for Memorial Day weekend and some outstanding scores with Gene being the top shooter in the Long range Buffalo Shoot great job Gene Hope to see everyone in June and let’s hope the weather turns out to be just as nice as the May shoot.
FOR THIS SHOOT YOU WILL NEED A PISTOL AND A PISTOL CALIBER CARBINE. THE PISTOL CAN BE ANY SEMI AUTOMATIC OR REVOLVER, THE CARBINE MUST BE 22LR OR ANY PISTOL CALBER (9MM,40SW,45 ETC).
WE WILL HAVE TWO DIVIONS, SEMI AUTO CARBINE AND MANUAL CARBINE (LEVER, BOLT ,PUMP) AS LONG AS YOU SECND FIRE ARM IS A PISTOL CALBER IT WILL WORK FOR THIS SHOOT.
We had our first Steel Challenge shoot on Saturday, May 26th and by all accounts, it was a success! We appreciated the help with set up and break down. Thanks to the Mainville Marauders for use of their steel plates. Thank you for your support! See you in June for another round!
